Look! It’s all of us!

We have a new logo! AND A NEW BLOG LAYOUT! :D It’s about time we posted something, right? I apologize for the lack of updates you guys. We have been working like crazy on Team High Score but unfortunately, we have to keep a lot of what we are working on right now a secret! Trust me, you don’t want this story spoiled. 

For now, check out some of the rough ideas for the new logo! We went through quite a few different styles before landing on this one. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to introduce our first series: Team High Score. 

Team High Score is an animated web-comic series that parodies the stories of RPG and adventure games. It follows a team of four members as they set off on an epic journey to The End of The Earth: a dangerous floating island that is home to the great wizard Titus. Team High Score, naming themselves after the magical “high score machines” (arcade machines) they stubble upon throughout their adventure, have set out to stop Titus from opening a gateway to the underworld and flooding the planet with evil. 

Our story begins in the small village of Hearth Hill, a lush beautiful town with a prosperous history of blacksmithing. Among the villagers lives Sir Mayner The Brave. A world famous adventurer and top notch swordsman. Mayner’s skills are sought after by many and he his commissioned by travelers from all over the world to aid them in their quests. However, he is not our hero. Mayner has only one son, Sir Flinley The Half Brave. Flinley is a cowardly young man. He is weak willed and clumsy, but has a heart of gold. His whole life he has looked up to his father, admiring him for his strength and bravery, and dreamed of one day being just like him. Now, as Mayner beings to approach old age, it’s up to Flinley to keep his family’s honor alive. Armed with Beleg Runya (elvish for “Mighty Flame”), his father’s enchanted sword, and a travel cloak bearing his family’s crest, Flinley must set off on his first adventure, a simple delivery quest to a nearby village. Little does he know that this quest will unfold into something far more epic than even Mayner himself has ever tackled.

Along his way, Flinley form a team to aid him in his journey. Aranel the elf: a fearless and charming sharpshooter, Elora Willowwood: a young human girl who is studying summoning magic, and Albus Sterling: a large, loud, and gentle airship builder from the land of Highwind. Together Team High Score travel the world fulfilling quests and ultimately making their way to The End of The Earth to take down Titus and save the world. 

Team High Score has been in production for the past few months and things are coming together very nicely. We plan to release the series in 24(ish) page chapters at a time.

A release date for Chapter 1 will be announced in the coming weeks. 

We hope you guys are as pumped for this as we are! These characters are very special to us and we can’t wait to tell their story!
