It’s time for some artwork. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a promo poster for our upcoming animated mini series, Holy Moses.
Holy Moses tells the story of Kyle Moses, a 16 year old video game junkie, and his run in with a very peculiar panda named Shu who, after eating Kyle’s gameboy, has developed amazing super powers. Shu’s powers are directly connected with Kyle’s gameboy, which has now become apart of his body, and can change depending on what game is inserted into it. If “Captain Fireblaster” is in the gameboy Shu can breathe fire, if “Super Racer 3” is inserted Shu has super speed. Pair this along with Kyle’s extensive collection of video games and the possibilities are endless. Together, Kyle and Shu battle demons, robots, thugs, and classmates all while traveling across the world to find out just where it is that Shu came from. They are joined by Kyle’s good friend Zaran, a quirky super nerd whose inventions put MacGyver to shame. He may not be the first one to jump into the fight, but without his brain power Kyle and Shu would be truly lost. Holy Moses promises to be an action packed series filled with laughs, love, and an overall coming of age tale that will captivate viewers everywhere.
As of right now, Holy Moses is in the very beginning stages. We are planning on it being a 10 episode series with each episode running about 15 minutes long. A pilot episode has been written and we will begin working on an animatic in the somewhat near future. This is not the first animation you will see from us. It may not even be the second or the third. We want to make 100% sure that Holy Moses is the best that it can be before we release it to the public. So until then, sit tight. Let us get our feet wet with our first one or two short films and then you should start seeing a lot more production on Holy Moses.
I hope you guys are all as excited for the future of Rain Dinners as we are. As the lone animator/artist on the team, I have a lot of work ahead of me and I still have much to learn.
Until next time,
-Matt/Rain Dinners
